18 yr old Andover, MA native Lauren Mahoney.
Mahoney’s music career was officially launched with her Season 2 win of New Hampshire’s Seabrook Idol Vocal Competition. Mahoney’s vocals have been described as “unexpectedly soulful”, and many have remarked on the difficulty and fearlessness she brings to her performances at such a young age. Along with her incredible vocals and range, she accompanies on the piano and has been compared to singers such as Lady Gaga, Toni Braxton and Joni Mitchell. Throughout her studies, Mahoney has explored genres varying from classical to jazz. In addition, she had extensive training at the Boston Conservatory Summer of ‘21. Most recently she won Classical All-State Singer ‘23. A Phillips Academy Andover graduate ‘23, Mahoney has taken the music scene by storm and is in her first year of studies at Boston University School of Music
